What is Sebaceous Cyst Removal?

Sebaceous cysts are common, noncancerous cysts of the skin. Cysts are atypical growths in your body that may contain liquid or semiliquid material. Sebaceous cysts are mostly found on your face, neck, or torso. They grow slowly and aren’t life-threatening, but they may become uncomfortable if they go unchecked. Sebaceous cyst removal is typically a simple procedure that can be done on an outpatient basis. After the surgery, the patient may take antibiotics to prevent infection and keep the incision covered with a bandage for a few days. The patient will also need to follow the doctor’s instructions for caring for the incision site, such as keeping it clean and dry.

Our doctors at Healthywill will ensure that you are in a good health before undergoing  the surgery. The doctors will check your complete medical history and will do a physical examination before the Sebaceous Cyst Removal procedure.
